Being appointed as the Chief Legal Counsel at Apollo Tyres Ltd., Atulya Sharma will head the corporate office of the Company in Gurgaon and supervise legal and secretarial functions.
Neeraj Kanwar expressed his approval of Atulya saying a growing company like Apollo needed the expertise of people like Atulya to help manage legal risks and regulatory actions. His experience is another added advantage.Atulya was previously working with Deutsche Bank, heading the Legal, Indian Subcontinent and Mauritius, giving legal support and advice about Global, local and capital markets. Before that, he worked with IFC ( a world bank group), with a total of 22 years work experience. Atulya will be reporting to the Vice chairman, Neeraj Kanwar. He is also a member of the Bar council of Delhi and Bar Association, Supreme Court of India.
