Ashok Leyland strikes in market with its all new electric bus, Optare Versa. The company has been providing high quality and durable automobiles from a long time. So the New York arm launched this zero emission electric bus at Society of Automobile Manufactures at greater Noida. Delhi NCR.
With the requirement of reducing the environmental impact, the Ashok Leyland has designed a bus ideal for feeder, airport tarmac and other intra-city applications with zero emission and zero noise, delivering the same performance as of any diesel vehicle. Although with low weight integral structure, Versa EV can accommodate 44 seats. Available in lengths of 9.7m, 10.4m, 11.1m and 11.8m, Versa EV remains quite agile even on tight roads. The bus has quite customer attracting features. Stylish body with spacious interiors, high end braking system, integrated charging points and on the go Wi-Fi. The low floor bus with wide door, enhanced seating arrangement along with wheel chair space is expected to attract a lot customers.
