Sales have hiked by 15% at TVS Motor Company from 177,662 units sold in February 2014 to 204,565 units sold in the same month of the next year.
Exports have shot up by 35% characterized by the increase in 28,782 units exported in February 2014 to 38,725 units the same month of the following year. Two wheelers, in particular have witnessed a 11% growth in domestic sales from 147,580 units to 164,508 units during Feb 2014- Feb 2015. Overall two wheeler sales have seen a 15% increase from 170,293 units to 195,509 units over the same period. A whooping 36% increase in exports from 22,713 to 31,001 units also signify the growth in the two-wheeler segment. Scooters sales have increased by 35% from 41,990 units to 56,750 units over the same period. Motorcycles sales increased from 62, 762 units to 74,292 units, showing an 18% hike in sales.
