JAC Motors, a leading Chinese automobile manufacturer, is set to launch its new S3 in Chile on July 14th, 2015. Currently S3 is only being sold in Costa Rica and Paraguay in South America. After its release in Chile, S3 will be launched in Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay and Colombia during the second half of the year.
JAC first launched S3 in August 2014 and within just four months it become the compact SUV sales champion in China. S3 topped the sales list in the first quarter of 2015, selling 53,679 units. Positive user feedback showed sales were driven by S3’s reliable quality, “Easy Drive” characteristics and five-star C-NCAP crash test rating.
