Volvo Ocean Race

After nine months at sea and almost 39,000 nautical miles covered, the world’s toughest round-the-world ocean race is approaching its final stop – the race finish in Gothenburg, home of Volvo Group. Here the event’s largest Race Village waits packed with activities for customers, the public, Volvo employees and their families.

As the Volvo Ocean Race 2014-15 covers the final legs, it is proving the closest race to date, which bodes for an exciting finish. The yachts are expected to cross the finish line in Gothenburg on 22-23 June. For eight days, Frihamnen port in central Gothenburg will be transformed into a Race Village covering 93,000 m2 and packed with a wide range of attractions from entertainments to world-class sailing.
