Tata Power's nationwide conservation programme has committed to nation building by creating responsible citizens, by focusing not only on conserving energy and natural resources (including fossil fuel-coal, oil, gas, water, managing waste and afforestation) but also by imbibing civic and moral values. Strengthening the Club Enerji programme in Bengaluru, their efforts have led to savings of 21,916units of electricity and sensitisation of 29,769 citizens across the city in 2014-15 which is a significant rise over last year’s numbers of 19,310 and 24,010 respectively.
