Maruti Suzuki Q4 net profit up 60%

As per company statement Higher sales volumes, cost cutting initiatives, favorable foreign exchange and reduced sales promotion expenses contributed to the bottom-line in last quarter of FY 15. In Q4 FY 2014-15 Maruti Suzuki sold 346,712 units, an noted growth of 6.7%. of this, exports contributed at 29,542vehicles, a impressive growth of 12.4%. In this quarter, the Maruti Net Sales stood at Rs 132,726 million, a gain of 12.3 per cent over the same period last fiscal which is impressive during the tough market condition. Net Profit registered Rs 12,842 million, a gain of 60.5%.

Key points of Financial Result 2014-15
The Company sold 1,292,415 vehicle during the year, a growth of 11.9 per cent over the previous year. Of this, exports were at 121,713 units, a gain of 20.1 per cent. The Company registered Net Sales (net of excise) of Rs. 486,055 million, a gain of 14% over the previous year. Net Profit during the year stood at Rs 37,112 million, a gain of 33.4% compared to 2013-14.
