TVS sales dip by 5% in July 2013

The sales of TVS Motors including exports for July 2013 got reduced by 5% at 153,676 units as against 161,255 units in July 2012.

Total exports grew by 37% with sales increasing from 19,142 units in the month of July 2012 to 26,145 units in July 2013. The company witnessed a significant increase in sales in the three wheeler segment with sales growing by 112% from 3,301 units in July 2012 to 7,005 units in July 2013 but their impact in domestic market remains feeble.
