Hyundai takes confident step forward with its Tucson

The All new Tucson introduced by Hyundai has gained a lot of heads turning in it's direction. It's bold, classy and muscular exterior plays in balance beautifully with it's generous cabin space and elegant, refined interiors housing a variety of convenience and connectivity features.
“Hyundai Motor has high aspirations for the brand in Europe. The All-New Tucson is a bold new car and our brand ambassador that brings to life our claim ‘New Thinking, New Possibilities’. Through great design and advanced technologies, it represents another leap forward for Hyundai in Europe. And, as a total package, it offers customers value beyond expectations,” commented Jochen Sengpiehl, Vice President Marketing at Hyundai Motor Europe.

“Design expresses our progressive spirit and passion, and it is transforming our brand. The All-New Tucson has a bold and athletic presence achieved through refined, flowing surfaces, bold proportions, sharp lines and most importantly, our newest generation hexagonal grille – our brand signature,” said Peter Schreyer, President and Chief Design Officer at Hyundai Motor Group.
The All-New Tucson combines the strong proportions and profile of an SUV with confident designs lined with sleekness and agility in the vehicle.
The exterior is characterized by the dominating Hyundai signature hexagon front grille to connect the LED headlamps. The front bumper gives the appearance of a wing, also incorporating LED lights, providing visual reference to the car's wide tracks.  It's sleek profile is complemented by the disconnected A-pillar back and the directional shape of the wheel contributes to dynamism and ajility. The rear is described by a clean design having horizontal lines fowing from the rear wheel arches.
The interior design introduces soft-touch, high quality materials and is dealt with simplicity to provide a sensuous experience.
The Tucson is built on a new platform that endorses modest interior dimensions, providing an excellent exterior-to-interior dimension ration. The new Tucson also delivers a substantial amount of 513 liters of luugage capacity with all the seats up.
Convenience features spoil the Tucson traveller with heated and ventilated front seats and longer cushions for comfort.
Safety is a major issue and the Autonomous Emergency Braking system has three operation modes which triggers an automatic braking system under the detection of an unsafe closing speed. In addition to this, the Tucson also incorporates the LaneKeeping Assist system, to avoid lane departure, and helps during cross-traffic. Blind spot, on the other hand helps to monitor traffic around the car.
The turbocharged 1.6liter T-GDI engine also offers a wide range of engines with two gasoline engines: 135 PS or 176 PS and three diesel options: 115PS, 136PS , 184 PS or 176 PS.
All Tucson models for sale in European markets will be manufactured at Hyundai's facility in the Czech Republic. The Tucson will go on sale in Europe during the second half of 2015 after making it's public World Premiere at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.All-New Tucson preliminary technical data in Europe
