Nissan announces the figures for Production, sales and export

On February 26th, 2015 Nissan Motor Co. made public the figures for production, sales and export for the month of January in 2015. In the production scenario, Global production has seen a 2% increase as the years pass by, amounting to 438,375 units this January. As the production for the X­Trail increased, so did production in Japan by a whooping 4.1% making it reach 83,653 units. Places around Japan witnessed a 1.6% increase in sales. The U.S by stark contrast registered a 7.4% decrease in their production, explainable by numberous factors. Mexico registered 69,269 units produced marking a 1.7% increase in production volume this January. U.K saw a 5.4% decline whereas Spain noted an appalling 13.3% deterioration. Production in China saw an escalation of 7.1% to 99,387 units this January, owing it's increase to the release of the X­Trail. Other regions in the world saw production go up by 14.6% yearly with 60,492 units.Sales on the other hand increased globally by 9.8% to 47,858 units, setting a record this month.

Japan saw a 15.7% dip in sales to 56,862 units. The dip in sales can be explained by the 24.6% deterioration in sales in Vehicle registrations in Japan. Regiouns outside Japan enjoyed a 14.9% increase in sales to 390,996 units. The U.S saw another 15.1% increase in sales to 104,107units.  Mexico registered a whooping 26.7% escalation in sales to 27.508 units. Europe has also seen a registered de­growth of 24.4% shooting up to 61,484 units. Owing it's big numbers mainly to the X­Trail and Sylphy series, China's sales saw a positive growth to 116,376 units recording a 22.2% increase in sales.
Exports have seen a tremendous upsurge to 46,273 units characterized by a 41.3% increase in growth, owing it to the X­Trail.
