Volvo rank high in performance and profitability

Good times have been seen at the Volvo family where the group expect to see hikes in sales and profitability this year, analysed from their continuing growth in places such as China and Europe. Their strong performance and introduction of the all-new XC 90 should allow for the sale of cars to go from 465,866 in 2014 to 500,000 cars this year. The increases sales will account for profitability for the company which has also foreseen some favourable currency translations.

"Volvo's story in 2015 will continue to be one of growth and sustainable profitability" says the President and Chief Executive at Volvo group, Hakan Samuelsson.
He also says a boost in sales is inevitable with the sales of their XC 90 to customers this year.

Built entirely based on the Scalable Product Architecture, the all-new Volvo XC90 provides a multitude of options along with improved driveability. It also features the Drive-E power train to provide a safely operatable technology.

Samuelsson also added " I am extremely confident in the direction we are taking in terms of our products and technology. At the same time, it is also extremely important that we build out future development on stable finances".
2014 showed that even the ill-luck from unfavourable currency swings played to their improved profitability only proving beyond doubt that Volvo's dream of positioning itself as a global premium car maker is not too long behind.
